Is there a contract required to use Eleat?

Eleat offers a month-to-month subscription, but we encourage a one-year commitment for maximum exposure and consistent marketing benefits. Annual plans may include discounts or additional promotional perks.

Can I cancel my Eleat subscription at any time?

Yes, cancellations must be made before the next billing cycle to avoid charges. If you’re on an annual plan, early termination fees may apply.

How do I update my restaurant’s profile, menu, and operating hours?

Log into your Eleat Restaurateur Dashboard to make real-time updates to your restaurant’s profile, menu, hours, and promotions.

Can I upload photos of my dishes, drinks, and restaurant interior?

Yes! Restaurants can upload high-quality images of their food, beverages, and venue. Eleat also offers paid professional photoshoots to enhance your listing.

Will Eleat update my menu for me?

Eleat can sync menus with your website or POS system, or if manual updates are required, Eleat’s team can assist for an additional fee.

3. Pricing & Payments

How much does it cost to list my restaurant on Eleat?

Eleat offers an introductory single plan of $79.00 per month, with optional premium advertising features available for increased exposure.

Can Eleat change its pricing?

Yes, Eleat reserves the right to adjust pricing at any time. Any changes will be communicated in advance, allowing restaurateurs the option to continue or cancel their subscription before the new pricing takes effect.

How does Eleat process payments for my subscription and ads?

Payments are securely processed through Helcim, Stripe, or PayPal and are billed monthly on the 1st of each month.

What happens if my payment fails?

If a payment fails due to insufficient funds or expired credit card details, your restaurant listing will be temporarily suspended until the full balance, including arrears, is settled.

4. Promotions, Deals & Happy Hour Management

How do I create and manage promotions?

Restaurants can use the Eleat Dashboard to create and manage real-time Happy Hours, Daily Specials, Last-Minute Deals, and Exclusive Offers.

Can I schedule or automate promotions?

Yes, promotions can be pre-scheduled for specific dates and times, and set to repeat weekly.

What if I need to modify or cancel a promotion?

You can edit or cancel promotions at any time via the dashboard. However, if a deal has been actively promoted or claimed, modifications may be subject to review.

5. Advertising & Additional Features

Does Eleat offer additional advertising opportunities for my restaurant?

Yes! Eleat provides premium placements, banner ads, and featured restaurant spots for increased visibility. Additional costs apply.

Can Eleat promote my restaurant on social media?

Yes, Eleat promotes select restaurants via Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube. Restaurants may also opt for paid social media campaigns.

Will Eleat take professional photos and videos for my restaurant?

Yes, Eleat offers photoshoot and video production services to enhance your restaurant’s listing and promotional content.

6. Reservations & Third-Party Integrations

Can customers make reservations through Eleat?

Eleat does not handle reservations directly, but restaurants can provide their preferred reservation platform link (e.g., OpenTable, Resy, Tock).

  • If a restaurant does not use a third-party reservation platform, Eleat will send reservations via email, text, or WhatsApp to the restaurant for confirmation.
What happens if a reservation is canceled or not honored?

Since Eleat does not manage reservations, all disputes must be handled directly with the restaurant or third-party reservation provider.

7. Customer Reviews & Reputation Management

How does Eleat handle customer reviews?

Eleat initially integrates Google Reviews onto restaurant pages.

  • Over time, Eleat’s own user-generated reviews will replace Google Reviews.
  • Restaurants must grant Eleat permission to import their Google Reviews, as stated in the Terms & Conditions.
Can I remove negative reviews?

Restaurants cannot remove legitimate reviews, but fraudulent, spam, or policy-violating reviews can be flagged for review by Eleat’s moderation team.

Can I respond to customer reviews?

Not immediately—restaurants will be able to reply once Eleat’s user-generated reviews replace Google Reviews. This feature will be enabled in future updates.

8. Legal, Policies, & Compliance

Who is responsible for compliance with liquor and advertising laws?

Restaurants are solely responsible for ensuring that their alcohol promotions comply with provincial liquor laws.

What happens if my restaurant violates Eleat’s policies?

Restaurants that violate Eleat’s terms (e.g., fraudulent promotions, false advertising, repeated policy violations) may face account suspension or permanent removal.
